Shauni has been be working as an Occupational Therapist for Redtail Therapy since graduating from Southern Cross University in 2018.
Shauni works as a paediatric Occupational Therapist who works with children between from 2-16 years of age. Her special areas of interest being early intervention for children between 3-8 years of age. Her support areas include helping children and young adults become successful at everyday activities including playing, dressing, feeding and meal preparation, self regulation, school readiness and participating in meaningful activities with family and friends.
Shauni’s passion has always been working with children, her previous job being a learn to swim teacher for children of all ages, including children with special needs.
Shauni has knowledge and experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Physical Impairment, and Cognitive impairment.
Shauni is focussed on ensuring she works together in collaboration with families and other support services to ensure the best outcomes for her children and families.
